Jessica Grubbs Got Married!

Jessica chose Loyd Hall Plantation for her reception site immediately following her wedding at her home church.

Floral Addiction provided beautiful fresh florals for the setting and everyone commented on them.  Her cakes were by Kristin's Confections and her catering was provided by Best Catered Events. 

Having catered the rehearsal dinner the evening before, the staff knew alot of the guests by name and they were a very fun and friendly crowd.

Thank you to Jessica.  We know you could have chosen any company to cater your special day, and are honored that we were your choice!

March 30, 2011- Doctor's Day Luncheon at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA

The Best Catered Events staff provided 3 entree selections, 2 salads, 3 desserts and additional vegetable and bread choices for the Doctor's Day Luncheon on March 30th.

Thank you to the staff at Rapides Regional Medical Center for once again allowing us to provide food for the wonderful physicians at this wonderful healthcare facility.

Mallory Zangla and Craig Taylor-Willow Bench, Pineville, LA - April 30, 2011

Mallory Zangla and Craig Taylor chose the newest venue in Pineville as the location for their wedding reception.  This venue is very unique and quaint.

May 5, 2011 Community Healthworx Fund Raiser- River Oaks, Alexandria, LA

Best Catered Events catered the annual fund raiser for Community Healthworx at the River Oaks Square Art Museum on May 5, 2011 in Alexandria, LA.

Hocus Pocus provided wine for the food pairings and the guests were thrilled with the food offerings.  A pasta bar, shrimp and grits bar and an All American Table were all busy spots throughout the evening.  A silent auction kept the guests entertained and a very nice evening was enjoyed by all.

Lauren Penton and Jess Simpson, Jr. April 9, 2011 @ Greenwood Plantation

When Lauren Penton and Jess Simpson, Jr. decided to begin their new life together, they chose the beautiful Greenwood Plantation as the location for their wedding ceremony and reception.

All White All Night - April 16, 2011, Alexandria, Louisiana

This was the third consecutive year that Best Catered Events and owner Dianne Evans catered the All White
All Night VIP tent.  Special thanks to H. Wendell Isadore for the vote of confidence once again.

The guests always love the foods we serve and we are honored to once again provide trendy, and very tasty selections to those who attend.

This year the evening was full of excitement with an awesome fashion show and photography shots all night.

Lonzo-Williams Family Reunion-Marksville, LA 6.11.2011

Holy Ghost Church in Marksville was the location of the Lonzo-Williams Family Reunion on Saturday, June 11, 2011.  This event was planned for over a year.

LaDonna and Dean Schexnyder June 18, 2011

LaDonna Wilson and Dean Schexnyder chose a lovely location for their wedding.  The LaManoir Fleuri in Moreauville was full of family and special friends of this wonderful couple. 

When I first met this couple, I knew right away they were going to be fun, and they were.  Immediately upon being pronounced husband and wife, there was a cowbell ringing!

The guests were then greeted by Best Catered Events staff members Brenda LaBorde and Megan Dauzat who served bacon roll ups and voodoo cheese in mini cones.  Best Catered Events owner, Rick Evans and Cassie Parker served refreshments on this hot June evening. Chef Dustin Quibodeaux provided on site food preparation and Stephanie Brown serviced the main table.

The bride chose a beautiful color scheme for the special day with coral, pinks and a hint of purple here and there. The newlyweds were presented and entered into their frist dance together and then the party got started.  Bayou Boys provided the music throughout the evening, Lisa Dupont of Cake Creations made both cakes (which the guests loved) and Best Catered Events provided the food and service for the fun loving couple and all their guests.

A candy bar was set up inside and there was a constant flurry of little (and big) hands on silver scoops and into little boxes (and Pockets).  Several guests were heard complimenting all the little details chosen by the bride for this special day.

LaDonna and Dean....keep on laughing and keep on loving!!  Congratulations from your team at Best Catered Events.  We are honored to have been chosen to serve you.

Rhett Graduated!!!

Rhett graduated from high school and a party was planned by his family to celebrate the occasion.  His aunt and uncle Jody and Candi Chenevert hosted the event at the family home in Plaucheville, LA.

 Cake Creations, owner Lisa Dupont of Mansura created a wonderful tasting cake for the occasion.

Rhett received lots of congratulations and plenty of well wishes for his future...Best Catered Events certainly wishes him the best as he looks towards the future!!

Melvin and Zamora....May 28, 2011 Baton Rouge, LA

Melvin Anderson and Zamora James chose this special day for their wedding in Baton Rouge.
 Narcissus A Narcissus created a wonderful setting for the guests with eggplant and magenta. Cakes were by Gambinos Bakery and the wonderful atmosphere was provided by the many family members and friends of Melvin and Zamora in attendance.

Best Catered Events passed smoked drummettes, mini crawfish pies and Natchitoche Meat Pies.  Action stations were busy throughout the afternoon serving up chicken and sausage gumbo, Spinach and Garden Salads with all the fixings and Mashed Potatoes with all the accompaniments.  The main food tables were dressed with white floor length cloths garnished with red flowering kale, green apples, purple cabbages, and lots of glass with lime green accents.

Guests enjoyed Blackened Chicken Alfredo, Crawfish Etouffee with Rice, Crabmeat AuGratin, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Chicken Salad Croissants, Mini Muffalettos, Deviled Eggs, BLT dip in savory cones, Smoked Beef Brisket, Turkey, Fresh Fruit with Gran Marnier Dip, Raspberry Hazelnut Torte and Raspberry Lemonade.

We so enjoyed this reception.  The guests were so complimentary, the setting beautiful and the couple wonderful to work with.

Best Catered Events staff provided food and service for the rehearsal dinner honoring Jessica Grubbs and Scott Moore on Friday, April 22, 2011 in the beautiful Loyd Hall Pavillion Dining  Room.

Lordy...Lordy...Jenny turned 40!!!

Jenny's mom, Dianne Burkhart called Dianne Evans, owner of Best Catered Events to cater a surprise party for Jenny's birthday in Zachary, on Saturday, April 23, 2011. She said she just couldn't let this special day
go by without a celebration.

Rick Evans and Syble Ashford helped create lovely food tables and provided great food and service for the evening.

Lordy, Lordy....Robert is 40!! Time for a Party!

Friday, April 15th was a really bad weather day with thunderstorms and wind gusts over 65mph. 

This client's wife surpised him with a party at their home complete with a 20'x60' tent, air coolers, bandstand, Phat Hat Band, and Best Catered Events.

The birthday boy was surprised and thrilled with the evening.  He thoroughly enjoyed visiting with old friends and family members and dancing the night away.
