Rehearsal Dinner at Loyd Hall - Friday, April 22, 2011

Best Catered Events staff provided food and service for the rehearsal dinner honoring Jessica Grubbs and Scott Moore on Friday, April 22, 2011 in the beautiful Loyd Hall Pavillion Dining  Room.

Menu choices were:  Seafood Stuffed Pistolettes with crawfish topping
                                Double Stuffed Potatoes
                                Whole Green Breans
                                Sensation Salad
                                Cheesey Bread
                                Bread Pudding with Praline Sauce
                                Caramel Pecan Crepes or Fresh Fruit Crepes

Lordy...Lordy...Jenny turned 40!!!

Jenny's mom, Dianne Burkhart called Dianne Evans, owner of Best Catered Events to cater a surprise party for Jenny's birthday in Zachary, on Saturday, April 23, 2011. She said she just couldn't let this special day
go by without a celebration.

Rick Evans and Syble Ashford helped create lovely food tables and provided great food and service for the evening.

Lordy, Lordy....Robert is 40!! Time for a Party!

Friday, April 15th was a really bad weather day with thunderstorms and wind gusts over 65mph. 

This client's wife surpised him with a party at their home complete with a 20'x60' tent, air coolers, bandstand, Phat Hat Band, and Best Catered Events.

The birthday boy was surprised and thrilled with the evening.  He thoroughly enjoyed visiting with old friends and family members and dancing the night away.

Ladies Afternoon Tea in Long Bridge, LA - April 14, 2011

The ladies in charge of planning this tea came by the Best Catered Events offices in the fall of 2010.  Details were discussed and they saw their vision come full circle at the afternoon tea today.

The Moreauville Garden Club hosted the Louisiana Garden Club Convention for an afternoon tea.  Al and Kathy Lemoine have a lovely home in Long Bridge and it was an absolutely breathtaking location for this group of ladies from all over Louisiana.

Lovely china, beautiful flowers and the ambience of the home made for a wonderful afternoon.

                                                              Menu items were: 
Cheesey Asparagus Bites, Chicken Salad Croissants, Bacon Wrapped Dates, Open Faced Cucumber Dill Sandwich on Brown Bread, White Chocolate Dipped Apricots, Lemon Bars, Ooey Gooey Bars, fresh Louisiana Strawberries, oranges and grape clusters, peach tea and unsweetened hot tea.

Best Catered Events, honored to assist in this event and provide a very different menu for the ladies!

Amanda and Bobby Got Hitched - April 9, 2011 - Loyd Hall Plantation









This couple was a pure joy to work with during the planning for their reception.  Both were very comfortable and laid back and absolutely the sweetest couple this owner has met in a long time!

Upon arrival at the beautiful Loyd Hall Plantation, Best Catered Events owner, Dianne Evans, noticed the breathtaking ceremony set up chosen by this couple.  Fuschia, white and charcoal gray were the chosen colors and when I asked Amanda why a few weeks ago, she said her first flowers from Bobby were hot pink Stargazers and roses.  She wanted that special remembrance as part of their day, and it was!

I loved the shoes the bridesmaids wore, the kissing balls hanging at the ceremony, and the cake!  Such a cake this caterer hasn't seen in a long time.  I didn't get the name of the baker, but have been promised a number for her, so call me and I will hopefully have it by then.

The favors were hot pink, chocolate covered mints in shot glasses and so cute.  The bride and groom thoroughly enjoyed their reception, visiting with each guest and smiling the entire time.

Best Catered Events enjoyed providing food and services for this couple and we wish them continued love and happiness!

Tanya married Paul - Reception at Convention Center, Alexandria, LA - April 2, 2011









Tanya and Paul held their reception at the Alexandria Convention Center in downtown Alexandria, LA on Saturday, April 2, 2011.

The guests entered the ballroom which was adorned with white floor length linens and deep purple toppers and lovely tall Italian vases with modern florals.  Best Catered Events provided food and non alcoholic beverages for this special event.

Rave reviews by the guests made for a special event.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Sam Rosso - April 2, 2011, Greenwood Plantation

Adrienne Hardy married Sam Rosso at the beautiful Greenwood Plantation in St, Francisville, LA on Saturday, April 2, 2011.  The 200 family and friends gathered to help the newlyweds celebrate the occasion.  Best Catered Events provided food and bar services for the reception in the main dining hall of the plantatoin. Confections by Michelle provided the cakes and there were special touches all around the house
