Gaynell Perry and Clint Falcon chose Afton Villa Gardens as the setting for their wedding and reception. The couple loved the outdoors and they would be right in the middle of it's majesty.
The ceremony was held in the garden. There were little paper origami cranes peeking up everywhere adding a little whimsy.
After the ceremony, guests walked a short distance to the tent where the reception would be held. AK Photography captured all of the special moments on film.
The food tables were flanked with beautiful silk neckties that had been sewn together to make a beautiful trim on the black floor length tablecloths. Once again, that touch of whimsy was all around. Gaynell loves cotton candy and she had a cotton candy machine for the guests to make their own...along with assorted candies. The cakes were made by Joan of Amazing Cakes in Prairieville. There were trivia games and a pinata, which made for a fun afternoon.
The menu reflected the choices that the couple wanted their guests to enjoy. Best Catered Events served up Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta, Chicken and Waffles, Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms, Finger Sandwiches and lots of other goodies received great reviews all afternoon.
