Andrea and Joel Bridwell - May 26, 2012

Andrea made a beautiful bride.  With the perfect setting chosen for her "special day" and a handsome groom awaiting, she made her way into the Rose Garden at the Louisiana Old Governor's Mansion in downtown Baton Rouge on Saturday, May 26, 2012.

After an intimate sunset ceremony, guests entered the mansion where they were greeted by Bonnie Baxley and Stephanie Brown of Best Catered Events.  These ladies offered up passed items of bacon roll ups, jalapeno chicken pinwheels and stuffed new potatoes.

Tonight's menu selected by the bride was also popular throughout the evening.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta, Finger Sandwiches, Chicken Salad with Walnuts on Croissants, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Veggie Crudite Cups, Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, Apricot Torte with cinnamon raisin toast points, fresh fruit and Southern Sweet Tea.

Brew HaHa made a lovely cakeball cake for Andrea and everyone raved over the flavors and uniqueness of the cake.

Britney and Matthew Felder - 05.12.12

Britney Glaser and Matthew Felder exchanged vows and pledged their love to one another on Saturday, May12, 2012 at the beautiful Greenwood Plantation in Saint Francisville, Louisiana surrounded by their families and friends.

Rain forecast called for a change of plans for the ceremony and a tent was brought in for the occasion.  The vintage look of the decorations and all the special touches and details made for a wonderful evening.  There were touches of white, burlap and lace scattered here and there as well as a sprinkling of vintage memorabalia.  Framed pictures of Britney and Matthew were everywhere.

Best Catered Events provided food as well as Britney's grandmother and Uncle.  Julie, Matt's mother,  made the groom's dessert which was Chocolate Delight, a real crowd pleaser.  Grandma made the mini pecan tarts which served as the bride's cake.  Mason Jars were the favors and guests enjoyed their favorite raspberry iced tea or lemonade all evening and then took them home with them.

Dr. Jazz provided the music and everyone enjoyed the melodic selections and the live band.  An absolute fabulous ending to a wonderful day.

Here are some pictures of the Special Day!  A picture is worth a thousand words....so here are about 20 thousand, enjoy.

Britney and Matt, we are honored that you chose Best Catered Events as your caterer.  Best Wishes and Much Happiness from this side of Louisiana!
