Evans turned "1'

Our youngest grandchild Evans is 1 year old! On March 6 this precious baby celebrated his birthday at Jump and Jive, but we had our own get together back at his house to give him his 1st set of "wheels" for this special occasion. Papaw even had a special customized license plate made with his name and "1" in honor of his "1st" birthday.

He loves his red Mini Cooper, and also all of the other ride on type vehicles he has.

Best Catered Events was in the town of Bunkie, LA on Saturday, March 13, 2009 catering a surprise birthday party for Margie Melancon...she was so surprised
when greeted by the 80+ friends and family. One of her friends had even flown in from Rhode Island just for the party. There was a wonderful band, a full premium bar with a signature "Marge-Rita", and alot of great food. The black and white birthday cake was presented to a "sparkler" champagne toast while the group sang Happy Birthday to You.

The weather was absolutely perfect and the guests were so friendly to our staff. This party was a nice reminder that Spring is here. Our staff members for this event were Shana Anderson, Sara Richardson, Chef Shane Smith and owner Dianne Evans.
