Best Catered Events was in Alexandria, LA on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 for the grand opening of the new Day Surgery Center at Rapides Regional Medical Center. The some 250 in attendance for the opening ceremonies enjoyed crudite cups with chipotle ranch dip, fruited spinach salad with raspberry champagne vinagrette, gourmet sandwiches, voodoo cheese, and a dessert bar.
Team members, Barbara Sanabia, Wendy Chapman, Chef Shane Smith, Kathy Jones, Pat Jones and Chef Andrea Dunn asssisted the guests with passed appetizers and flavored tea selections.
Owner Rick Evans coordinated the staff during the event.
We received many nice compliments on our food and wonderful service. The new Day Surgery Center is beautiful and we certainly enjoyed working with the nice people at Rapides Regional Medical Center once again.
