Jaimie Vincent and Jesse Melancon - October 27, 2012 - Greenwood Plantation

Jaimie Vincent married Jesse Melancon on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Greenwood Plantation in St. Francisville, LA surrounded by family and friends.

Many made the drive from the Lafayette, LA area for this most special occasion.  The weather was gorgeous, just a little chilly.  The bride was so excited to exit the front door of the lovely plantation home and walk down the petal lined aisle under the oak trees to her waiting groom.  There was an arbor draped with grapevines and rustic lanterns down the aisle, where her groom was waiting her arrival.  Such  an intimate setting for the exchange of vows.

Fine Arts Ensemble provided all of the ceremony music.  Anne D. Bergeron and her assistants did a stellar job of coordinating the evening's activities and keeping everything running smoothly.

After the ceremony, guests remained in the ceremony area where they were served iced tea and appetizers of bacon roll ups and voodoo dip on bong bong chips.

The buffet awaited inside on the main dining table.  Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya, sweet and sour meatballs, shrimp and crab stuffed jumbo mushrooms, crabmeat mornay, blt minis, plantation sandwiches of ham, turkey and roast beef with cheeses, smoked beef brisket and pork loin with freshly made rolls and condiments completed the menu.  There was a fresh fruit and cheese display with Sweet Dumpling Pumpkin garnish and caramel fruit dipping sauce.

The cakes were beautifully designed and created by Sweet Impressions out of Central.

Out on the back patio, Domingue's Disc Jockey Service was providing music and the dancing began.
Mark Domingue also provided a chocolate fountain and there was a margarita machine in the kitchen house outside as well.

The bride and her father as they left the front door to walk down the aisle to her waiting groom.  She is so very excited!

Our newlyweds left in a limousine while the guestwaved "wedding wands with bells'' for their departure.

Jaimie and Jesse are wished all the best for a lifetime of love and happiness from the Best Catered Events team!
