Lacye and Chris got married on Saturday, June 4, 2010 at St. Rita's in Alexandria, LA. The reception for 300 guests followed at the England Community Center.Guests entered the room where a beautiful candy bar was set up with white
takeout boxes for the guests to get a sample of their favorites.
The food tables were in an X formation with a 5'round center table. Each table was flanked with an ornate swan ice sculpture, which surrounded the huge white fresh floral centerpiece. The guest tables were covered in white with white chair covers and black accent centerpieces.
The doorway to the bar area was set up as a shrimp cocktail bar around a 6' long alligator head where the shrimp were kept chilled on ice served by an attendant. The couple had a very nice reception and a surprise was the "belly dancers" which appeared from out of nowhere!
This reception was so much fun, very different and absolutely gorgeous. Best Catered Events wishes the newlyweds all the best in the future! .
